A project for 48 HOURS NEUKÖLLN, The Art Festival 2017
The visible realm casts a shadow over a whole colourful world. Often only a little light is missing to make it visible, only one possibility to step out of the shadow. Yet light is used sparingly in the art world; a world where exclusive objects and artistic representations prevail. The white cubes we call art galleries cast their shadows over all that does not fit into their framework. Hence we invited everyone you to venture out from these shadows and express oneself in full sight. Brushes and paint were provided to transform our 'shadow cube' into a collaborative work of art. Colour, canvas, GO!
A project for 48 HOURS NEUKÖLLN, The Art Festival 2016
Canvas, colours, GO! Paint a picture, show it to the world and turn your thirst for creativity into a meal for the hungry. When you’re hungry, you usually eat until you’re full. When the foods exceptionally good, perhaps even a bite or two more. But when that art craving kicks in, you know it’s time to make room for a feast. From countless colours to bundles of brushes, we have it all. So grab a canvas (yup we’ve got those too) and paint until your palette’s dry. Help our collection grow into something beautiful over the course of the festival. And don’t forget to save the best for last: pick your favourite work of art and auction it off for a good cause on Sunday afternoon. Turn your thirst for creativity into a meal for the hungry. All proceeds will go to organizations in Berlin that support the hungry. Canvas, colours, GO!
